Our client is a growing international organization operating in the engineering and renewable energy sector, delivering complex, large-scale projects across North America and Europe. Following a recent acquisition, the company is entering a new phase of growth and transformation, creating an opportunity for a finance leader to strengthen processes, enhance reporting, and provide strategic financial leadership across the region.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will act as the senior finance leader for North America, overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and compliance activities. You will lead and mentor a small finance team while partnering closely with operational and project stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and project financial performance.
- Strengthening financial controls, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Supporting ERP optimization and continuous process improvements.
- Managing banking relationships, financing arrangements, and treasury activities.
- Acting as a key business partner to the executive team and contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Supporting a multi-entity, international project environment with stakeholders across North America and Europe.
What you'll need to succeed
- CPA designation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Experience in project-based environments such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or industrial services.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically while remaining involved in day-to-day execution.
- Experience managing multi-entity operations and working with international stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives would be considered a strong asset.
