Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Applications Leader to define and deliver the enterprise applications strategy for an industrial manufacturing organization. This role will lead NetSuite and broader ERP/enterprise application initiatives, manage implementation and ongoing optimization, and drive digital transformation across finance, supply chain and CRM domains. The leader will align application portfolio investments to business objectives, ensure strong governance and risk/compliance posture (including GDPR and EUDR), and deliver measurable ROI through efficient program and budget management.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the enterprise business applications strategy and roadmap, with a focus on NetSuite, ERP and industrial manufacturing applications.

Lead end-to-end implementation and upgrade programs for NetSuite and other enterprise applications, including vendor selection, solution design, testing, deployment and hypercare.

Manage the application portfolio, prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, ROI and risk, and oversee program and project delivery through portfolio management practices.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Sales) to translate business requirements into scalable solutions and ensure successful adoption.

Drive digital transformation initiatives and integration of AI and embedded AI capabilities into enterprise applications to automate processes and improve decision-making.

Establish governance, security and compliance controls across the application landscape, including GDPR and EUDR requirements, data protection and access management.

Create and manage application budgets, track spend, forecast costs, and ensure value realization from investments.

Define and enforce standards for system architecture, data quality, integration patterns and change control to maintain a stable, extensible enterprise environment.

Lead and mentor a team of application managers, architects and implementation partners; manage vendor relationships and third-party service delivery.

Measure and report program performance, ROI and risk metrics; drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-implementation reviews.

Coordinate training, documentation and change management activities to maximize user adoption and minimize disruption during implementations.

Support incident and problem management processes, drive root cause analysis and reduce application-related business interruptions.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field

5+ years of experience leading business applications, with demonstrable hands-on experience implementing and managing NetSuite and ERP systems in industrial manufacturing environments.

PMP certification preferred not required.

Proven track record delivering complex enterprise application implementations and integrations across finance, supply chain and CRM domains.

Strong experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts, enterprise applications strategy and portfolio management.

Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts and third-party implementation partners; ability to justify investments through ROI analysis.

Practical knowledge of GDPR and EUDR compliance requirements and experience implementing controls to meet regulatory obligations.

Proven ability to manage risk and apply risk management practices across application programs.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and change management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.

Experience in industrial manufacturing applications and supply chain systems, CRM and digital transformation experience highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a bias for practical, business-focused outcomes.
