We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to build an institutional-grade finance function and partner with the CEO and Board in scaling the business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO with regular interaction with the Board and Audit Committee, the CFO will lead the company's finance strategy, governance, fundraising, financial planning, and operational finance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who enjoys building systems, strengthening controls, and enabling business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Costing & MIS, Compliance, and Controllership functions.
- Build robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and Board reporting processes.
- Establish plant-level costing and profitability visibility across products, customers, and manufacturing locations.
- Drive working capital optimisation, cash flow management, and treasury operations.
- Lead debt fundraising, banking relationships, and capital planning for future expansion.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, statutory compliance, internal audit, and risk management.
- Drive ERP implementation and improve financial systems and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with business leaders on pricing, capital allocation, investment decisions, and strategic growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-18 years of post-qualification experience. MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
- Strong experience in manufacturing or multi-plant finance environments.
- Deep expertise in plant costing, MIS, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, lender management, working capital financing, and capital planning.
- Experience working with promoter-led businesses and building professional finance functions.
- Exposure to private equity or institutional investor-backed companies will be highly preferred.
- Proven leadership capability with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Hands-on, commercially oriented, and comfortable driving change in a fast-growing organisation.
