Technical Business Analyst - Salesforce Support & CPQ
4-month contract | August start | $700-$800 per day + super

Our client is a market-leading international organisation with complex operations, a broad customer base and an ongoing focus on technology improvement.
They are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join their applications team on a four-month contract, providing paternity leave cover.
This is a hands-on functional role focused on Salesforce support, user story validation, testing and change delivery across the APAC business. You will work closely with business stakeholders, the Level 1 support function and technical teams to ensure Salesforce changes and support requests are properly assessed, documented and delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and resolve Level 2 Salesforce support tickets, excluding code development.
- Scope and manage escalations from the Level 1 support team.
- Gather, structure and validate functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and refine Salesforce user stories for APAC requirements.
- Support business case development for Salesforce changes.
- Coordinate regression, validation and end-user testing.
- Review test scenarios and ensure they meet business requirements.
- Manage and progress Salesforce change requests and user stories.
- Support basic Salesforce administration, including users, roles and permissions.
- Review integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft and third-party systems.
- Assist with requirements relating to order routing, manufacturing, contracts and complex product quoting.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and technical teams to progress issues and changes.
About you
You will be an experienced Salesforce Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in application or production support.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
- Strong Salesforce support or application support experience.
- Experience resolving Level 2 functional Salesforce issues.
- Salesforce administration experience, particularly users, roles and permissions.
- Strong user story and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience coordinating functional, regression and user acceptance testing.
- An understanding of Salesforce integrations and data flows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, complex quoting processes or MuleSoft integrations would be highly regarded.
Contract details
- Four-month contract providing paternity leave cover.
- August start.
- $700-$800 per day + super, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Melbourne-based contractors may also be considered.
