One of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Vice President, Business Applications based out of their Somerville, MA office. This individual will lead enterprise business applications strategy and partners directly with executive Business Process Owners (BPOs) including the COO, CFO, CHRO, CMO, and Chief Transformation Officer. They will be responsible for aligning technology investments to business objectives, scalability, operational efficiency, and value creation. This organization provides leading enterprises in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. The unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity. This position reports to our Chief Information Officer. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
• Partner effectively with business stakeholders and Business Process Leaders (BPLs).
• Support scalable technology solutions aligned to operational and business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and process standardization.
• Support reliable enterprise application operations and enhancement delivery.
• Collaborate across IT, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, business systems, or IT leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise application teams and strategic technology initiatives.
• Strong experience with Oracle and other enterprise platforms (ERP, HCM, CRM, or related systems). • Proven success partnering with executive leaders to align technology investments with business objectives.
• Experience developing application roadmaps, governance processes, and prioritization frameworks.
• Strong understanding of business process improvement, operational scalability, and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across the organization.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
