For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a mission-driven environment.
Location: Philadelphia, PA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape financial strategy
- Innovate and modernize financial systems and processes
- Design and implement financial models to guide strategic investments
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data and best practices
- Lead budgeting and forecasting in coordination with cross-functional leaders
- Develop insights from financial performance to guide decision-making
- Streamline financial operations and enhance system integration
Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience preferred
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership, particularly in complex organizations
- Proven track record in financial transformation and systems implementation
- Experience in operating under a blended revenue model with diverse funding
- Strong proficiency in leveraging data and technology for financial decision-making
