Summary
The Sales Operations & Logistics Specialist provides support functions critical to sales productivity and effectiveness, with broad contributions to the logistics, sales, and proposals teams. These duties include planning, reporting, CRM management in Salesforce, sales quote support, and partner relationship management. Duties may also include order processing, RMA process/shipping support, and coordination of proposal & RFP responses.
This role is in-office as an individual contributor and does not directly manage people. The position will report to the Sales Operations & Logistics Manager. The Sales Operations & Logistics Specialist should be effective at coordinating across multiple organizations, including both internal and external stakeholders, and influencing to achieve results.
Responsibilities
- Weekly sales and demand reporting to gauge progress toward company revenue goals and provide support for supply chain decisions
- Interface with production, certification, and product management to align sales quotes and order fulfillments with certification and product requirements
- Serve as subject matter expert for sales quoting, providing support for product configuration, financing options, competitive review, tax estimates, and adherence to certification requirements
- Support RMA and shipping team with technical repair work and coordination when needed to improve RMA turnaround times and order fulfillment targets
- Manage partner relationships to ensure timely deliveries; includes forecasting demand for regularly ordered products (paper, accessories, etc.)
- Perform administrative tasks such as external reporting, catalog updates, order processing, weekly sales reports, and data entry in Salesforce as needed
- Provide and Salesforce administration when needed
- Identify, develop, and execute internal process adjustments to make order fulfillments and sales operations more efficient and effective
Qualifications
- Operational and/or administrative experience
- Comfortable and effective in a fast growing, rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to become an expert in our materials, processes, products, and costs
- Excellent knowledge of software applications: Excel, Word, and Salesforce
- Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience required
