A rapidly growing investment firm is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer / Controller to join its leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership and help scale a high-growth, entrepreneurial organization.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital, private equity, or another investment fund environment, along with experience in a finance leadership role.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of finance leadership experience within a VC, PE, hedge fund, or similar investment platform
- Hands-on experience with capital calls, credit facilities/lines of credit, K-1s, audits, tax coordination, SPV investment vehicles, fundraising, and internal/external financial reporting
- Experience overseeing employee compensation, benefits, and health plan administration
- CPA required; CFA is a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to South Florida
