We are partnering with a global, publicly traded, technology-driven manufacturer to identify a Vice President of Finance to serve as the senior-most finance executive for a global business unit.
This role is a true business partner to the Business Unit President and executive leadership team, responsible for shaping financial strategy, driving operational performance, and influencing key business decisions that support profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the senior finance leader for a global business unit with and P&L responsibility.
• Partner directly with the President and executive leadership team to develop financial strategy, evaluate investments, and drive business performance.
• Lead the annual operating plan, long-range strategic planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Provide financial leadership on business transformation initiatives, operational improvements, capital allocation, and strategic investments.
• Drive actionable insights through financial analysis, risk assessment, and decision support.
• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and public company reporting discipline.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance organization while partnering effectively across a global, matrixed enterprise.
Qualifications:
✔ 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including leadership of a business unit, division, or operating company.
✔ Strong background in FP&A, operational finance, and strategic business partnership.
✔ Experience partnering directly with a President, General Manager, or senior operating executive.
✔ Experience supporting multiple P&Ls within a complex manufacturing or technology organization.
✔ Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive business performance.
✔ Experience in a publicly traded company environment with strong financial controls and governance.
✔ M&A integration, business transformation, or carve-out experience is highly desirable.
✔ Experience in medical technology, life sciences, industrial technology, precision manufacturing, or other engineered product environments is preferred.
This person will travel about 50% in the US. Can be based in Greater Boston OR the Pacific Northwest.
