The Position
The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for the operational management and execution of software renewal transactions across Seequent's customer base. This role ensures renewal opportunities are accurately processed, forecasted, documented, approved, and closed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Working closely with Account Managers, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and other internal stakeholders, you will be the central coordinator of renewal activities, ensuring data integrity, process compliance, forecast accuracy, and revenue retention.
This highly collaborative and process-driven position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining service level expectations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own CRM (Salesforce) data integrity and governance across the region, ensuring high standards of data quality, compliance, accuracy, and effective management of leads, accounts, opportunities, renewal records, approvals, close dates, and supporting documentation.
- Drive pipeline and renewal management, coordinating end-to-end sales and renewal transactions from identification through order completion, ensuring forecast accuracy, timely progression, visibility, consistency, revenue retention, and successful deal closure.
- Define, monitor, analyze, and communicate sales and renewal KPIs through dashboards, reports, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis, providing actionable insights on performance, win/loss trends, deal velocity, conversion rates, sales productivity, risks, delays, and revenue opportunities.
- Partner closely with Global Sales Operations, Information Services, Commercial, Account Management, Customer Success, User Operations, Finance, Credit & Collections, Deal Desk, and Legal teams to execute transactions, process orders, create contracts, manage approvals and exceptions, and support licensing, billing, and contractual requirements.
- Act as the regional champion for sales tools, processes, and best practices, leading adoption, change management, process documentation, compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence across the Revenue Operations function.
- Support strategic sales planning and business execution by contributing to territory design, sales coverage models, capacity planning, budgeting activities, and translating business strategy into operational plans aligned with revenue objectives.
- Communicate with customers regarding renewal paperwork, purchase orders, quotes, contract administration, and operational matters, supporting follow-up activities, participating in customer discussions when required, and escalating customer concerns or operational issues that may impact renewal timelines or revenue recognition
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, sales administration and/or renewals management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, generating insights, and supporting business decision-making.
- Proven experience using salesforce, and Microsoft Excel. Experience in Power BI is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to following established processes, procedures, approvals, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, demonstrating strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, respond quickly, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Customer-focused, friendly, persistent, patient, and innovative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering service excellence.
