Tachyon Technologies is a global professional-services firm in the middle of a transformation into an AI-Native services company. We are rebuilding how consulting, delivery, and operations get done. We are hiring leaders who want to build that future rather than manage the past. This role reports directly to our CEO.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Tachyon's CFO, you will bring financial rigor, operational discipline, and strategic foresight to a high-growth technology-services business that is transforming into an AI-Native company. This is a full-time leadership role, working directly with the CEO to build the financial infrastructure required for our next growth chapter — and to understand how AI-Native delivery reshapes the economics of a services firm: its margins, utilization, and pricing. Ultimately, you will help position Tachyon for institutional investment or strategic partnership
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own all financial operations: P&L, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting (India + US).
- Build and lead the finance and accounting function — systems, processes, controls, and team.
- Partner with the CEO on strategic planning, M&A readiness, capital allocation, and scenario modeling.
- Model the unit economics of AI-Native services delivery — how AI changes margins, utilization, capacity, and pricing.
- Establish financial governance, audit readiness, and statutory compliance across India and US entities.
- Design and implement FP&A frameworks — unit economics, margin analysis, client profitability, and headcount/capacity planning.
- Lead banking relationships, working-capital management, and treasury functions.
- Prepare financial packages for the management team and board.
- Manage tax planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial structuring.
- Drive pricing strategy and commercial deal review for large enterprise contracts.
WHO YOU ARE
- 12–20 years of progressive finance experience; CA (India) / CPA / CFA strongly preferred.
- Experience as CFO, VP Finance, or Finance Director in a technology-services or consulting company.
- Hands-on and comfortable in a lean environment — you won't have a large team from day one.
- Deep knowledge of India's financial regulations: GST, TDS, transfer pricing, and the Companies Act.
- Experience with US GAAP or dual-entity financial reporting is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and modern FP&A/BI tools; open to AI-enabled finance tooling.
- Commercially astute — you understand the link between operations, pricing, and profitability in services businesses.
