Role Description The General Manager Sales and Operations role is a part-time, on-site position based in St Albert, AB. This role oversees daily sales operations in the studio, including managing membership sales processes, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation. The General Manager Sales Operations leads and supports front-desk and sales team members, coordinates schedules, and helps implement company sales and service standards. The role involves engaging with prospective and current members, conducting studio tours, explaining membership options, and resolving member concerns to promote satisfaction and retention. This position also collaborates with leadership to execute local marketing initiatives, optimize operational workflows, and maintain a professional, welcoming studio environment aligned with Club Pilates brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and Sales Operations, with the ability to manage membership sales pipelines, track performance, and meet or exceed targets.
- Minimum 3 years of sales leadership or management experience.
- Strong background in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term member relationships.
- Proven skills in Operations Management, such as scheduling, process improvement, reporting, and ensuring compliance with studio policies and brand standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach team members and collaborate effectively with leadership and instructors.
- Minimum 5 years experience in fitness, wellness, or retail sales environments is preferred.
- Proven ability to generate personal sales while coaching and developing Sales Representatives.
- Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale software, and basic office tools; strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in St Albert, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Generate new leads through grassroots marketing, networking, and community outreach.
Execute the sales process by converting prospects into Intro Classes and memberships.
Drive membership growth through company generated leads and community grass roots events.
Implement and oversee sales Standard Operating Procedures with Sales Representatives.
Respond promptly to social media inquiries and online leads.
Operations
Manage daily studio operations to ensure an exceptional member experience.
Coordinate with owners to maintain accurate retail inventory and product availability.
Monitor and utilize ClubReady reporting, including revenue, attendance, and membership reports.
Collect outstanding membership dues.
Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
Ensure all administrative forms, supplies, and marketing materials are fully stocked and displayed.
Enforce all Club Pilates policies and procedures.
Conflict resolution when required.
Leadership
Recruit (when necessary,) coach, supervise, and develop Sales Representatives.
Make independent decisions to deliver a high level of customer service.
Schedule and participate in community events, networking opportunities, and studio promotions.
Support marketing campaigns/ grass roots events designed to generate qualified leads.
Perform additional duties as required, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the overall appearance of the studio.
