Currently seeking a VP of Sales to drive sales growth strategy and profitability while managing a dedicated sales team. The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase team sales growth
- Lead sales, account management, and customer success teams
- Identify new markets and contribute accurate data for sales plans
- Cultivate and nurture key customer relationships
- Close significant business deals
- Establish and track goals and KPIs for the sales teams
- Design sales incentive plans
- Recruit and mentor the Sales team and future leaders
- Gather market intelligence and monitor competitive activity and deals
- Implement sales processes and infrastructure
- Forecast sales, OB, and revenue planning
- Monitor the sales pipeline and the performance of sales representatives
- Collaborate with the Operations team on lead generation strategies, sales performance analysis, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience and team management
- Previous experience leading a team with a minimum of $50 Million in sales
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the logistics, supply chain, or 3PL industries
- Preference for experience in fresh produce logistics
- Previous P&L experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
