Job Overview
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Operations Manager holds a key position within the Sales & Marketing team. You will help to drive optimum sales performance and excellence. The position plays a vital role in improving market share and growth through all major channel segments across our business units, working closely with the Director Sales & Marketing to provide key business intelligence and analysis to the Nationwide Sales Team.
The role specifically manages and ensures optimal sales performance & effort metrics. It provides deep thinking and analysis towards optimising our strategies that make us successful in what we do. With a thorough management of the sales process – the position will help provide program and sales incentive strategies, implementation, and Operations and be the conduit for all Sales & Strategic Planning.
Key Accountabilities
- Help the Director of Sales build a strategic sales plan for how we manage channel and territory coverage and approach
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Implement and manage CRM tools to maximise opportunities and customer relationships.
- Conduct regular analysis of the Partner network to ensure optimal performance is being realised.
- Help the Director of Sales manage the roadmap for enhancing the design and capabilities of the sales organisation spanning workflow processes, sales roles, productivity tools & data and specialised support services.
- Provide data and analysis to identify trends and sales opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Provide support to the Sales team and their sales pipeline to help them achieve success.
- Supporting the Director of Sales in the system development life cycle for sales and customer related processes across the various IT systems.
- Deliver business insights and demonstrate thought leadership with analysis of reports and feedback to internal stakeholders and business units.
- Identify issues and challenges related to sales process & strategy and drive timely resolution.

Skills And Experience
- 2 + years’ experience in Sales Operation’s or as a Business / Sales Analyst with a clear inclination for sales development and management.
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of Database and warehousing desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic analysis, planning and thinking.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- History using and developing Salesforce or other CRM software and sales tools would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the car hire sector or other mobility solutions would be advantageous.
- A commitment to achieve results.
Location: Based in Artarmon there may be a requirement for interstate travel from time to time.
