The Role:
We are currently seeking a results-driven and experienced professional to join us as Revenue Operations Business Partner to our CMO. You’ll play a crucial role in our marketing leadership team, helping shape and execute marketing strategies, improving team efficiency, and serving as a key advisor to the CMO. You’ll provide support to the CMO, ensuring the function’s goals are met, and act as a liaison between the CMO and other functions and divisions within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Support: Collaborate with the CMO to develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives. Provide critical input into decision-making processes, including budget allocation and resource planning.
2. Team Coordination: Oversee and streamline the operations of the marketing function. Ensure team members are aligned with the CMO's vision and goals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
3. Project Management: Manage and lead cross-functional marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Track project progress, identify roadblocks, and implement solutions.
4. Data Analysis: Gather and analyse data to provide insights and recommendations to the CMO. Use data-driven approaches to make informed decisions and refine marketing strategies.
5. Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact between the CMO and other teams within the organization. Facilitate effective communication and information flow, both within the marketing department and across the company.
6. Executive Support: Assist the CMO in day-to-day tasks, including preparing reports and presentations. Act as a gatekeeper and advisor to the CMO.
7. Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as vendors, partners, and customers. Represent the CMO and the marketing function as needed.
8. Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing function, ensuring that goals and objectives are met. Report on the function’s progress to the CMO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing, with a strong track record of success in leadership roles.
- Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- High proficiency in marketing tools and software.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate challenges and provide solutions.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Previous experience in a Revenue Operations Business Partner role or a similar position is a plus.
