As CFO, you'll be a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, leading the company's financial strategy while helping shape its future. As CFO, you will:
- Lead the company's financial strategy and long-term fiscal performance.
- Partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors on strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Oversee finance, accounting, treasury, purchasing, tax strategy, enterprise risk management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate acquisitions, capital investments, and growth opportunities.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Finance and Purchasing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Leader We're Looking For
We're seeking a strategic, collaborative executive with the financial expertise and business acumen to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate is an influential leader who can translate financial insights into business strategy while building trusted relationships with the Board, lenders, auditors, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA, Master's degree, or CPA designation preferred.
Experience
- Proficient in understanding of the commodity based agricultural processing and market and hedging dynamics.
- Strong managerial ability and ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Maintain strong financial controls and budget discipline, as well as safeguard the Company’s financial interests and maintain the confidence of the CEO and Board through timely, accurate and thorough reporting of financial information
- Prior experience managing the finance functions including: accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting including corporate treasury functions, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details
- Previous people management skills and overall business managerial skills
- Must have up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer software applications
