Overview:

The Sales Operations and Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing new equipment quotes for the sales team, while modeling and evaluating data about current market, sales and pricing trends to drive decision making related to product, sales, and marketing strategy. This position works with the Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Manager to create strategies to drive customer interaction and sales through digital applications and will also be responsible for improving the sales process leveraging leading technology and data. The scope of technology includes Configure, Pricing and Quoting (CPQ), Oracle CRM, QlikSense, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel or other applicable data modeling tools. The position requires the candidate to communicate effectively to the VP of Sales and Marketing, Director of Finance, Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Director of Marketing, Sales and Order Coordinators and extended teams.

Responsibilities:

Support new equipment sales with the following:
Providing price for new equipment quotes.
Developing pricing strategies for overall decision making or specific quotes/contracts; customer, volume, capacity, complexity, competitive situation, customer segment, etc.
Follow delegation of authority with all pricing process.
Data Analysis and Modeling of backlog, incoming quotes, market trends, product mix, etc.
Develop, manage and execute process improvement impacting customer experience during the inquiry and quote phases of the buying process for internal and external team members and customers.
Continued education on latest data, pricing and quoting technologies.
Communication to commercial operations teams about data analysis, strategies, and process improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience in a commercial operations environment, pricing, data analysis, statistics, mathematics, economics, business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A general knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
Possess knowledge and experience in a commercial operations, sales, pricing, data analysis, statistics, mathematics, economics, or business.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for presenting conclusions in a way that is compelling, factual and readily accessible to decision makers.
Must have skills in Project Management, organizational networking.
Ability to be self-guided and manage projects with minimal assistance.
Candidate will have the ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines and must be organized, detailed, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Experience with Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ), information systems, data modeling software.
Ability to travel for sales & marketing related events. Approximately 5% of time.
Knowledge of database, CRM tools (SFDC, Oracle, SQL).
Ability to work in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The compensation range for this position is $52,000 to $62,700.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
