Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at LOOXS is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support the brand’s growth and retail expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial statements and reporting, monitoring cash flow, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to the leadership team. The CFO will lead the finance function, collaborate with cross-functional teams on investment decisions and cost optimization, and establish financial policies, controls, and performance metrics. This role also involves guiding financial risk management, liaising with external auditors and financial institutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in corporate finance and financial leadership in retail, fashion, or related consumer sectors.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic modeling.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and review Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in line with applicable standards and regulations.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating business performance, assessing investment opportunities, and supporting data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating effectively with executive and operational leaders.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, MBA) are an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a dynamic retail environment in Lucknow, with a hands-on approach to operational and strategic initiatives.
