About Colosseum International
Colosseum International Inc. is the U.S. entity of Colosseum Corporation. We are a small but fast-growing team building the foundation of our American operations — expanding fulfillment capabilities, onboarding partners, and supporting K-brands entering and scaling in the U.S. market. As one of the early members of the U.S. team, you will have real ownership and growth opportunities in a flexible, hands-on environment.
Colosseum Corporation (our parent company based in Seoul) is a global total logistics partner that leverages a network of connected warehouses and AI-driven solutions to support end-to-end supply chain needs. The company delivers integrated services spanning inbound logistics, order processing, packaging, shipping, and return management.
Role Description
We are looking for a Business Operations Manager (or strong Junior level) to join our lean U.S. team in the LA office. This is a practical, generalist role supporting the overall business administration of Colosseum International.
You will work closely with local vendors and Korean teams on day-to-day operational, financial, and administrative matters. The role focuses on reliable execution of essential tasks rather than large-scale process redesign or team leadership. We are seeking someone who wants to grow with us as an original member of the U.S. team and is motivated to work hard in a close-knit, family-like atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cash position, process payments (AP), track receivables (AR), and support accurate financial record-keeping
- Coordinate with external accountants, bookkeepers, and service providers on reporting, reconciliations, and documentation
- Manage insurance renewals, basic compliance filings, and settlement-related paperwork
- Support HR administration (onboarding documents, benefits coordination, time-off tracking, etc.) as the team grows
- Serve as the primary local point of contact for vendors and Korean business management teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Operations)
- Maintain organized records, track key deadlines, and prepare simple status updates for leadership
- Assist with general office and administrative needs of the LA office
- Proactively identify and follow up on issues such as outstanding payments, expiring policies, or missing documents
- Support the design and continuous improvement of standard processes (Business management)
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in business operations, office management, accounting administration, or a similar generalist role (startup or small company experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and basic bookkeeping tools (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus)
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting multi-entity or cross-border coordination is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if relevant experience is solid
- Clear communication skills in English
- Korean speaking preferred
What We Offer
- Base salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)
- Opportunity to grow as an early member of the U.S. team in a small but fast-growing and flexible environment
- Direct exposure to cross-border logistics and close collaboration with Korean HQ
- Family-like atmosphere where ownership and hard work are valued
- Clear career growth opportunities as the U.S. entity scales
