Role Description The Medical Device Business Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Huntington Beach, CA. This position oversees day-to-day business operations for the medical device portfolio, including planning, coordinating, and optimizing processes across supply chain, inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service. The role manages operational workflows, develops and tracks performance metrics, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The manager collaborates closely with sales, finance, and product teams to support demand forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable medical device standards. Additional responsibilities include leading small projects and programs, maintaining accurate operational documentation, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive growth and scalability.
The business distributes Medical Device implants, and sources surgical instruments overseas from Germany. We need someone who is amazing at systems, and operations. Being incredibly organized is essential to managing inventory and and orders coming in and out from overseas shipment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee daily processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, create reports, and support data-informed decision making.
- Candidates leads weekly meetings of all sales, and prioritization of orders and invoices coming in.
- Candidates should possess Finance-related skills to assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and margin optimization.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or regulated industries is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with business productivity and ERP/CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
