We are looking for a strategic, commercially driven, and highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead AGGCON’s finance function and work closely with the CMD and senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial strategy, treasury, working capital, taxation, audit, corporate governance, banking, investor relations, and business planning, with the ability to strengthen financial controls and support the company’s next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AGGCON’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Partner closely with the CMD and senior management on business planning, growth strategy, capital allocation, and key financial decisions.
- Lead treasury and working capital management, including cash-flow planning, liquidity management, receivables, payables, and optimization of the working capital cycle.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, lenders, investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Lead fundraising, debt management, banking arrangements, credit facilities, and other corporate finance initiatives.
- Oversee financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and management reporting to enable timely and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance, risk management, and internal control systems across the organization.
- Oversee statutory and internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable taxation, accounting, statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Drive financial discipline across business functions and establish robust processes for cost control, expenditure management, and profitability improvement.
- Monitor business and fleet-level financial performance, including revenue, margins, utilization economics, capital expenditure, and return on assets.
- Evaluate major capital expenditure, equipment acquisition, financing, and investment proposals from a financial and commercial perspective.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuations, financial modelling, and strategic financial analysis for major business initiatives.
- Support investor relations, capital-market activities, and stakeholder communications, including preparation of financial information, presentations, and management inputs.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Collections, HR, and other functions to strengthen financial accountability and commercial decision-making.
- Drive finance digitalization, automation, MIS improvement, and effective utilization of SAP ERP across the finance function.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounts team with clear accountability, controls, and performance standards.
Requirements
- 15–20+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, corporate finance, treasury, or related leadership functions.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in financial strategy, treasury, working capital management, banking, taxation, audit, compliance, financial controls, and corporate governance.
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial modelling, cash-flow management, profitability analysis, and capital allocation.
- Experience in fundraising, debt structuring, investor relations, IPO/capital-market processes, or public-company financial governance will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction equipment, equipment rental, EPC, heavy engineering, automotive, manufacturing, mining, logistics, or other asset-intensive businesses will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of capital-intensive business models, asset financing, working capital cycles, and commercial finance.
- Mandatory hands-on experience using SAP ERP.
- Exceptional leadership, commercial judgment, analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work closely with promoters, the Board, senior management, auditors, bankers, and institutional stakeholders.
- High standards of integrity, financial discipline, confidentiality, governance, and professional ethics.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, Haryana. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Faridabad; however, qualified candidates from other locations are also encouraged to apply.
