The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to BDG Group, ensuring robust financial planning, treasury management, compliance, internal controls, business partnering, and governance across all business units. The role supports the Managing Director in driving profitable and sustainable growth.
Job Responsibilities/ KRA :
Strategic Finance & Business Planning
- Lead long-term financial strategy aligned with group business objectives.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
- Support expansion, capex, restructuring, and investment decisions.
Financial Reporting & Governance
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and management MIS.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Manage banking relationships, fund raising, and treasury operations.
- Optimize cash flow, borrowing cost, and working capital cycle.
- Ensure compliance with loan covenants, stock statements, and CMA submissions.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
- Lead tax planning, assessments, audits, and litigation management.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and legal advisors.
Commercial Finance & Cost Optimization
- Partner with business heads on pricing, costing, margins, and investment evaluation.
- Drive cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Strengthen financial SOPs and maker-checker controls.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
Team Leadership
- Build a high-performance finance organization.
- Develop succession pipeline and strengthen team capability.
Educational Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Desired: Company Secretary (CS)
- Additional qualification such as MBA (Finance) / CFA will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 18–25 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as CFO / Head Finance / Group Finance Controller.
- Experience in manufacturing, steel, plastics, packaging, or multi-business group environment preferred.
