Benskin Talent Partners is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer for our client, a growing, physician-led specialty healthcare organization in St. Louis. This is a strategic, board-facing role in a business that is growing quickly through acquisitions.
About the Role
The CFO will own financial performance for the St. Louis market and act as a key strategic partner to physician leadership and the board. The role is focused on strategy, growth and results rather than day-to-day accounting, and it is supported by a centralized accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own P&L performance and financial results across multiple specialty service lines
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the board on a regular basis
- Lead M&A activity, including financial modeling, pro formas, due diligence and integration of acquired practices
- Lead strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Oversee revenue cycle performance through an experienced revenue cycle leader
- Present financial updates to physician partners and build strong relationships with them
- Partner with corporate finance and accounting to make sure reporting is accurate and timely
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration; MBA or CPA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Healthcare finance experience required; experience with physician groups, MSOs or specialty practices is a plus
- Experience with M&A, financial modeling and board-level reporting
- Working knowledge of revenue cycle management
- Strong executive presence, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Personable, collaborative leadership style and comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
- Based in St. Louis or willing to relocate
