Overview:
TrustedTech is building its Revenue Operations function from the ground up, and the Revenue Operations Manager will be the person who builds it. These individuals will be the accountable owners of the systems, data, processes, and commercial intelligence that power the entire revenue motion.
This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology, owning the operational infrastructure that connects them. That means Salesforce and GTM tooling, pipeline reporting and forecasting, process design and automation, and the cross-functional alignment that keeps the revenue organization running with clarity and confidence. It is not a pure analyst role, a pure admin role, or a pure process role; it is all three, applied with the commercial judgment of someone who understands how revenue is generated and retained.
The right candidate brings a builder’s instinct, deep technical proficiency across GTM systems, and the operational maturity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology leadership to stand up a RevOps function that TrustedTech can grow with. This role will be a critical enabler of TrustedTech’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
RevOps Function Build-Out & Ownership:
- Own the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of TrustedTech’s Revenue Operations function, establishing the infrastructure, processes, documentation, and governance standards that will define how RevOps operates and scales.
- Serve as the primary RevOps resource and point of accountability for all revenue-facing systems, processes, and reporting across Sales Acquisition, Account Management, Professional Services, and Legacy Sales.
- Partner with the COO or VP, Technology to establish the strategic direction of the RevOps function, prioritize initiatives, and ensure the function is purpose-built to support TrustedTech’s growth trajectory.
- Represent RevOps in cross-functional operational meetings and strategic planning sessions, ensuring revenue operations priorities are visible and aligned with broader business objectives.
Systems Architecture & GTM Tooling:
- Assist with the configuration, administration, and optimization of TrustedTech’s GTM tech stack, under the direction of the COO or VP, Technology, with Salesforce CRM as the primary platform; including workflow automation, data governance, user management, permission structures, and reporting infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize the broader GTM tooling ecosystem, including platforms such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, Chargebee, AppDirect, Partner Center, CPQ, and any additional sales or marketing automation tools within TrustedTech’s stack.
- Assist with designing and maintaining platform integrations and data flows across systems, ensuring that CRM data, billing data, marketing data, and operational data are accurately synced and consistently defined across the organization.
- Own and maintain automation workflows that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and increase operational capacity across Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Own vendor relationships for RevOps-managed platforms, including onboarding, troubleshooting, contract renewals, and usage optimization across the stack in collaboration with internal IT under the direction of leadership.
Pipeline, Forecasting & Commercial Reporting:
- Build and own TrustedTech’s revenue reporting infrastructure, delivering consistent, executive-ready visibility into pipeline coverage, conversion rates, win rates, quota attainment, renewals, churn, and forecast accuracy across all revenue-generating teams.
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop and maintain forecasting models and pipeline review cadences that support data-driven commercial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain role-specific dashboards and reporting tools in Salesforce, Power BI, or equivalent platforms that give each revenue team the operational visibility they need to manage their business effectively.
- Monitor pipeline health and revenue performance on an ongoing basis, proactively surfacing risks, anomalies, and opportunities to Sales leadership and the COO or VP, Technology.
Process Design, Enablement & Adoption:
- Design, document, and continuously improve revenue-facing processes across the full commercial lifecycle from lead routing, opportunity management, and deal desk workflows through renewal operations and post-sale handoffs.
- Partner with Sales leadership and Sales Enablement to ensure new processes and system changes are effectively communicated, trained on, and adopted across the sales organization.
- Establish and enforce CRM hygiene standards, data governance policies, and documentation requirements that maintain the integrity of TrustedTech’s revenue data over time.
- Proactively identify and resolve systems issues (whether in CRM sync logic, data inconsistencies, integration failures, or process gaps), implementing scalable fixes rather than one-off workarounds.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Finance on revenue recognition, billing operations, and the data alignment between CRM activity and financial reporting, ensuring a clean and accurate view of TrustedTech’s commercial performance.
- Partner with Marketing Operations on lead management, attribution modeling, and the handoff process between the marketing-sourced pipeline and sales, ensuring no revenue signal is lost in the transition.
- Work closely with Sales leadership, translating field-level needs into system and process improvements and ensuring all sales motions are fully supported operationally.
- Collaborate with the UK RevOps function to maintain alignment on global data definitions, shared platforms, and reporting standards, ensuring consistent operational infrastructure across both markets.
Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
- 5-7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a closely related technical operations role within a B2B technology, SaaS, or Microsoft partner environment.
- Advanced Salesforce CRM proficiency, including workflow automation, custom reporting, data governance, user administration, and integration management (Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience owning and maintaining a GTM tech stack independently, including platform configuration, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and integration management across multiple systems.
- Proven ability to design and implement automation workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make, or equivalent platforms, with experience reducing manual effort at scale across revenue-facing teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience building executive-level dashboards and forecasting tools in Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing end-to-end sales processes, from lead routing and opportunity management through deal desk, renewal operations, and post-sale handoffs.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology, with the communication skills to translate technical operations into plain-language business context.
- A genuine builder’s mindset; energized by the opportunity to stand up a function from scratch, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and capable of taking incomplete systems and turning them into scalable, well-documented workflows.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):
- Experience with CPQ tools, Chargebee, AppDirect, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Partner Center, or other GTM platforms relevant to TrustedTech’s existing tech stack.
- Background in supporting a Deal Desk function, including structured approval workflows and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Legal.
- Working knowledge of SQL for custom data extraction, transformation, and reporting against CRM or operational databases.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or BANT, and experience operationalizing them within Salesforce to support structured pipeline management and coaching.
- Prior experience as the first RevOps hire in a scaling organization, with a track record of building infrastructure and processes from the ground up.
