We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function of a manufacturing organization based in Corona, California. This executive will be responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost management, while serving as a key business partner to leadership, investors, and lenders. The ideal candidate will offer deep expertise in electronics manufacturing, strong cost accounting knowledge, and a track record of delivering accurate financial reporting within a private equity-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all finance and accounting functions, including monthly close, financial statement preparation, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Drive the annual budget process, forecasting activities, and long-range financial planning to support operational performance and strategic growth.
- Manage financial reporting requirements for private equity sponsors, lenders, and equity stakeholders, ensuring compliance with deadlines and covenant obligations.
- Oversee manufacturing finance activities, including job costing, standard costing, cost accounting, and variance analysis across production operations.
- Partner closely with operational leadership to assess plant performance, improve profitability, and enhance financial visibility across electronics and box-build manufacturing programs.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance practices to support defense-related manufacturing requirements and applicable cost accounting standards.
- Lead the optimization of ERP-based financial processes, including costing workflows, system-enabled analysis, and manual processes within Epicor.
- Provide leadership and clear financial insight to internal executives and external stakeholders to support sound business decisions.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including prior experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or other senior finance executive.
- Experience within an electronics manufacturing company, ideally in the $50 million to $250 million revenue range.
- Strong background in electronics manufacturing, including box-build production environments.
- Deep expertise in job costing, cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in the defense industry, including familiarity with government contracting requirements and cost accounting standards.
- Hands-on ERP experience within a manufacturing finance environment, including Epicor and related costing processes.
- Proven success leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
