Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role located in Columbia, PA responsible for overseeing all financial operations of St. Anne’s Retirement Community. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial planning and budgeting processes, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports. The CFO will guide long-term financial strategy, oversee accounting functions, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements specific to senior living and healthcare. This role collaborates closely with the executive team, advises on key business decisions, supports capital projects, and presents financial performance and forecasts to leadership and the Board. The CFO also leads, mentors, and develops the finance team to maintain high standards of integrity, efficiency, and service to residents and employees.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, with the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, assess risk, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within healthcare, senior living, or non-profit organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, MBA, or similar advanced credential strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with financial systems, budgeting tools, and ERP/accounting software, along with strong Excel proficiency.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
