Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of Prudential Advisors: Pacific Financial Group. This role includes leading financial planning and analysis, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The CFO will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, monitor key performance indicators, and provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making. Daily responsibilities include partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and accounting standards, and optimizing capital allocation and resource management. The CFO will also mentor finance team members, drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, and support the firm’s growth objectives in alignment with advisor and client needs.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning and finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling.
- Demonstrated experience with financial statements and financial reporting, including GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role within financial services, wealth management, or insurance-related organizations.
- Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment, collaborating across distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Experience with financial systems, ERPs, and business intelligence tools; proficiency in Excel and data analysis software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
