Position Overview
A fast-growing, technology-driven organization in the advanced manufacturing and medical imaging sector is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations in the United States.
The CFO will play a key leadership role in managing all financial activities in the U.S., while working within a matrix reporting structure to ensure alignment with global financial governance, internal control standards, and strategic objectives. The role will also support local operational execution and business growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing finance, cross-border operations, and internal control systems, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, internationally structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, cost optimization, and investment decisions
- Align financial strategy with overall organizational objectives and long-term development plans
2. Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and local statutory requirements
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
3. Manufacturing Finance & Cost Control
- Lead cost accounting practices, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory control
- Monitor production costs, margins, and operational KPIs
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve efficiency and cost structure
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Oversee payment processes, FX exposure, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure effective liquidity planning and capital allocation
5. Cross-Functional Financial Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between U.S. operations and global functions
- Support intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance
- Ensure consistency in financial policies, reporting standards, and internal controls across entities
6. IPO Readiness & Internal Control Enhancement (Preferred)
- Support financial standardization and documentation in preparation for IPO requirements and external financing
- Lead the development and enhancement of internal control systems aligned with regulatory requirements and international best practices (SOX-equivalent standards)
- Collaborate with auditors, legal advisors, and consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
- Strengthen corporate governance, financial transparency, and audit readiness across global operations
7. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Develop talent and enhance financial processes and systems
- Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong background in manufacturing or industrial sectors (medical device experience is a plus)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, taxation, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proven experience in cross-border finance operations (international exposure highly preferred)
- Experience supporting IPO readiness, audit processes, or external financing is strongly preferred
