Role Overview
We are looking for an accomplished and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s finance function and support its next phase of growth.
The CFO will be responsible for financial strategy, project financing, fund-raising, treasury management, project-wise profitability, taxation, regulatory compliance, risk management and financial controls across the company’s real estate and infrastructure portfolio.
The ideal candidate must combine strong financial discipline with a practical understanding of land acquisition, project development, construction finance, sales collections and the complete real estate project lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Lead the complete Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Compliance and MIS function.
- Drive financial strategy, business planning, budgeting, forecasting and project-wise profitability.
- Evaluate project feasibility, land acquisition, JVs/JDAs and new real estate opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective.
- Lead project finance and fund raising from banks, NBFCs and financial institutions, including construction finance, term loans and working-capital facilities.
- Manage cash flows, treasury, working capital, collections and project-wise fund allocation.
- Establish strong project costing, cost-control and cost-to-complete mechanisms, identifying cost overruns and margin leakages.
- Ensure robust compliance covering GST, direct taxation, Companies Act, RERA, audits and statutory requirements.
- Develop meaningful MIS, dashboards, financial models and management reports for the MD and Board.
- Drive implementation and effective utilisation of ERP/finance and business software systems, integrating Finance with Projects, Procurement, Sales, CRM and other functions.
- Strengthen internal controls,IT & Digital governance, processes and financial discipline across the organisation.
INCUMBENT PROFILE:
- CA with 20 years of relevant experience, who understands the business of real estate and construction, can manage both finance and commercial decision-making, raise funds, control project costs, strengthen compliance and build scaleable financial systems
- Strong hands-on experience in project finance, construction funding and banking relationships.
- Proven exposure to feasibility analysis, land acquisition, project economics, budgeting and cost control.
- Thorough understanding of GST, taxation, RERA, statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Strong command of cash-flow management, project profitability, financial modelling and MIS.
ANNUAL COMPENSATION: 40-50LPA
