Built to set the gold standard for integrated AI infrastructure
Crux AI is a newly formed, U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company created to remove the physical and operational constraints on consequential AI ambitions. Crux brings together power, high-density data centers, TPU silicon, networking, orchestration software, and ongoing operations as one integrated system.
Crux is being capitalized to plan every layer together, develop each one to demanding standards, and operate the whole system with efficiency and reliability. That gives hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, sovereign customers, enterprises, and AI-native companies greater freedom to pursue the AI they are here to create.
What You'll Do
Reporting directly to CEO Ben Treynor Sloss, you will define and lead Crux AI’s commercial strategy, determining how the company prices, allocates, and monetizes a finite and extraordinarily valuable supply of AI infrastructure. You will structure and negotiate the company’s largest multi-year customer agreements, balancing price, capacity commitments, delivery schedules, counterparty quality, and long-term economics. You will build a rigorous view of supply and demand to inform pricing, forecasting, and how much capacity to sell forward versus retain for shorter-duration opportunities.
You will build Crux AI’s commercial operating system from the ground up, connecting customer commitments to infrastructure development, hardware deployment, and capital allocation while developing a deliberate portfolio of scaled, investment-grade customers. Over time, you will build a lean, high-caliber commercial team across account management, marketing, and solution architecture, using AI and automation to drive sharper insights and more efficient execution.

Experiences
EXPERIENCES, ATTRIBUTES AND MINDSET THAT INDICATE A GOOD MATCH
- AI infrastructure expertise. Experience across AI infrastructure, hyperscale cloud, accelerated compute, data centers, or adjacent markets, with the technical credibility to engage sophisticated infrastructure buyers.
- Complex commercial dealmaking. Personally structured and negotiated $1B+ strategic agreements, with deep experience across pricing, contract structure, demand forecasting, and capacity portfolio management.
- Frontier customer exposure. Direct experience with frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, or similarly sophisticated technology customers and a strong understanding of how they evaluate large-scale infrastructure commitments.
Attributes
- Hands-on builder. A player-coach who can personally lead critical negotiations while building TPU Co’s GTM organization, processes, and capabilities from a blank sheet.
- Exceptional commercial judgment. Able to develop an independent view on pricing, customer economics, supply/demand, and when and how capacity should be sold.
- Technical credibility. Fluent in AI infrastructure and compute economics to earn credibility with technical buyers while translating complexity into commercial decisions.
Mindset
- AI-native practitioner. Actively uses AI tools and agents to improve research, analysis, customer intelligence, and personal productivity.
- High tolerance for ambiguity. Makes clear decisions despite rapidly changing technology, customer demand, pricing, and incomplete information.
- First-principles thinker. Builds the commercial model appropriate for this company rather than importing conventional SaaS or enterprise-sales playbooks.
Nice To Have (preferred, Not Required)
- Exposure to power, energy, data center development, project finance, or capital markets, with an understanding of how infrastructure economics influence commercial decisions.
- Top-tier strategy consulting experience, particularly advising technology, cloud, infrastructure, energy, or capital-intensive businesses on commercial strategy, pricing, market structure, or large-scale transactions.
- Experience navigating multiple technology generations or hardware platforms and their implications for pricing, customer commitments, and technology risk.
- Exposure to marketing, account management, or solution architecture; traditional breadth across every CRO function is additive, but less important than commercial judgment, analytical horsepower, and complex-deal execution.
