CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER (CRO)
Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
OneAccord Human Services Group (OAHSG) is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to lead sales strategy, revenue goals, and business development across our growing portfolio of businesses and ventures.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a conventional sales leadership position.
We are building businesses, developing new markets, refining our sales models, and pursuing opportunities across diverse industries. We need someone who is energized by that environment, enjoys turning opportunity into revenue, and is willing to take ownership of making it happen.
The right person will combine strategic thinking with a strong bias for action. You will help determine where we should focus, whom we should pursue, how we should sell, what goals we should set, and how we will measure success. Just as importantly, you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and help build the revenue engine.
This is not a role for someone looking simply to inherit an established sales organization.
It is an opportunity to help build one.
For the right person, that means unusual access to leadership, significant influence on business strategy, broad professional exposure, and substantial opportunity to grow as the organization expands.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for developing and driving revenue strategy across our many and varied business platforms.
Our current activities include SaaS hiring and candidate-selection solutions, consulting services, commercial and trade-service contracting, and other entrepreneurial ventures. Each may require a different sales approach, yet all share the same objective: disciplined, sustainable revenue growth.
You will work closely with organizational leadership and marketing to translate business objectives into actionable sales strategies and measurable revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee sales and revenue strategies across multiple businesses, products, and services.
- Establish revenue goals, sales objectives, KPIs, pipeline expectations, and performance measures.
- Identify priority markets, customer segments, strategic accounts, partnerships, and new revenue opportunities.
- Develop prospecting and business-development strategies appropriate to each business.
- Personally participate in business development and strategic selling, particularly while new markets and sales channels are being established.
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, HR and talent leaders, commercial customers, builders, facilities, and other key decision-makers.
- Develop and continually refine sales messaging, presentations, proposals, outreach strategies, and value propositions.
- Work closely with marketing to align lead generation, positioning, campaigns, and sales activity.
- Establish disciplined CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales-reporting practices.
- Analyze performance to identify what is working, where opportunities are being lost, and where resources should be redirected.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and create synergies among our different businesses.
- Develop scalable sales processes and systems that can support future growth.
- Help recruit, develop, and lead additional sales professionals as revenue growth warrants expansion of the team.
- Create a culture of urgency, accountability, persistence, and achievement around revenue goals.
WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL HERE?
We are less concerned with whether you have already held the title of Chief Revenue Officer than with whether you have the ability, temperament, and drive to grow into the full scope of the opportunity.
We are looking for someone who is:
Entrepreneurial. You are energized by building, improving, experimenting, and finding a way forward when the path is not yet defined.
Driven. You want to accomplish something significant and are willing to take ownership of the results.
Comfortable with uncertainty. You can make thoughtful decisions without needing every variable resolved beforehand.
Resourceful. When faced with an obstacle, your instinct is to find another approach rather than wait for someone else to solve it.
Persistence. Rejection and setbacks are information—not reasons to quit.
Commercially curious. You naturally want to understand customers, competitors, markets, pricing, positioning, and the reasons people buy.
Strategic and hands-on. You can think about the larger revenue picture while remaining willing to make the call, pursue the account, build the presentation, or close the opportunity yourself.
Accountable. You are comfortable with ambitious goals and with measurable expectations.
Above all, you should be drawn to the idea that what you help build today can become significantly more valuable tomorrow.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
We are open to candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds and place significant value on demonstrated potential, judgment, initiative, and achievement.
Strong candidates will possess:
- Experience or demonstrated ability in sales, business development, entrepreneurship, revenue generation, or other commercial roles.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with executives and key decision-makers.
- Understanding of prospecting and business development strategies, including phone, email, social selling, networking, research, referrals, and account development.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and act without constant oversight.
- Persistence, resilience, and a strong results orientation.
- Genuine interest in building businesses and creating long-term value.
Experience with SaaS, recruiting, assessments, Human Resources, HCM, ATS platforms, Talent Management, commercial services, contracting, CRM, or marketing technology is helpful but not required.
COMPENSATION & OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity is designed for someone who sees compensation not only in terms of what can be earned immediately but also in terms of what can be created over time.
The initial compensation structure will be strongly performance-oriented, with the objective of evolving into a combination of salary and incentive compensation as revenue grows and results are demonstrated.
We recognize that this structure will not appeal to everyone.
It is intended for someone who believes that accepting greater challenge and responsibility—and investing meaningful effort at the outset—can create substantially greater professional and financial opportunities as the businesses grow.
The opportunity is to build and demonstrate value, and to participate increasingly in the value you help create.
