Duties

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational growth and stability.
Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations.
Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of accurate financial statements, analysis reports, and interpretation for executive decision-making.
Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, risk analysis, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity.
Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks, and other regulatory standards.
Lead risk management initiatives including internal controls, fraud prevention, and regulatory reporting to safeguard organizational assets.
Drive strategic initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions, business development efforts, fundraising activities for expansion projects, and market analysis to identify new opportunities.
Develop financial projection models to support budgeting processes, forecasting analyses, and long-term fiscal planning.
Oversee cost control measures across departments to improve profit & loss performance while maintaining high standards of expense management.
Manage a high-performing finance team through effective leadership, supervision, coaching, and talent development.

Skills

Extensive experience in accounting systems implementation and management; proficient with financial software tools.
Deep understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, cost management, revenue cycle management, and expense control.
Strong knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition, and governmental accounting principles where applicable.
Expertise in corporate finance activities including fundraising for business development and strategic mergers & acquisitions.
Proven ability in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting analysis, and developing comprehensive financial report writing and interpretation skills.
Exceptional leadership qualities with experience managing finance teams and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives.
Skilled in negotiation with vendors, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
Adept at risk assessment techniques including risk analysis and risk management strategies that mitigate potential threats to organizational stability.
Excellent communication skills for clear presentation of complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders; capable of developing detailed financial reports aligned with industry standards such as GAAP or IFRS standards.
Strong understanding of supply chain finance concepts as they relate to cost control and operational efficiency within a nonprofit or corporate environment.

Pay: $164,708.57 - $181,861.98 per year
