Role Description:
The Senior Oracle CPQ Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the Oracle CPQ platform that support complex pricing, configuration, and quoting processes. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable technical designs, implementing new features, customizations and integrations with relevant databases and enterprise systems, and ensuring data consistency across CPQ workflows. The Senior CPQ Developer collaborates closely with business analysts, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the CPQ platform. The role also includes creating technical documentation, supporting user training, and adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 15 years of experience with CPQ platforms such as Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ, or similar. (Multiple positions are open at different levels, requiring a wide range of experience.)
- Strong software development skills relevant to CPQ (e.g., BML, JavaScript, Java, .NET, or similar technologies).
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and business applications.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficiency in data modeling and working with relational databases to support CPQ configurations and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of product configuration, pricing structures, and quoting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
