For our client, we are seeking a Business Operations Director to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will shape the operating model and business systems that enable enterprise-wide execution, with a strong emphasis on scalable process design and measurable impact. You will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning, decision-making, and organizational agility. The position also calls for a strategic operator who can translate complex challenges into practical solutions and help advance AI-enabled ways of working.
Location: Austin, TX - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $229,000 – $255,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Deconstruct complex strategic and operational challenges using first-principles problem solving
- Drive AI-first business operations by reimagining workflows and designing AI-powered systems
- Embed data-driven decision-making into planning and performance management for improved effectiveness
- Facilitate organizational adaptability and execution through change management mechanisms
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from opportunity identification to implementation, influencing executive leaders
- Serve as a trusted advisor on strategic planning and execution against company priorities
- Design scalable business processes and governance models for increased effectiveness and reduced friction
Qualifications
- 12+ years in management consulting, business operations, strategy, or enterprise B2B tech organizations
- Experience leading ambiguous, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives without formal authority
- Proven ability to design scalable operating models or business systems with measurable impact
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into insights and decisions
- Experience applying AI technologies to enhance workflows and scale operations
