We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior finance executive to lead the financial operations of a 489-bed acute care hospital and help drive its next phase of fiscal performance and growth.
About the Role
As CFO, you will provide executive-level leadership and oversight of all financial operations, including financial reporting, long-term financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, revenue cycle, and reimbursement functions. You'll serve as a trusted financial steward to the Governing Board and Executive Leadership Team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency across the organization while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Lead and direct all financial operations in support of the hospital's mission and growth objectives
🔹 Develop and execute long-term financial strategy and planning
🔹 Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital finance
🔹 Manage revenue cycle and reimbursement functions
🔹 Ensure financial reporting integrity in accordance with GAAP
🔹 Ensure compliance with Governing Board policies and hospital operational philosophy
🔹 Partner across the organization to influence financial and operational performance
What You Bring
✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
✅ 5–7 years of hospital accounting/finance experience required; 2+ years in a management role preferred
✅ Extensive knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and principles
✅ Experience managing budgeting, cash management, capital finance, and performance evaluations
✅ Working knowledge of insurance regulations, reimbursement, information systems, and plant operations
✅ CPA preferred
✅ Active membership in ACHE or a related professional organization preferred
Compensation: $220,000–$280,000, commensurate with experience
