We're working with a leading international professional services firm seeking a senior business operations leader to partner with practice leadership and drive performance across a significant division of the business.
This is a high-profile role combining strategic planning, financial management, operational leadership and organisational development. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you'll help shape business priorities, drive profitable growth, and ensure the division is operating effectively across people, clients and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with divisional leadership to develop and deliver business strategy and operational plans
- Drive financial performance, profitability and commercial decision-making
- Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve client delivery, efficiency and operational effectiveness
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and implement change initiatives
- Support growth plans, workforce planning and organisational development activity
- Lead and develop a team of business management professionals
- Sponsor and deliver strategic projects and transformation programmes
- Use data, analytics and market intelligence to support business decisions
- Build strong relationships across business services teams to ensure joined-up support to the division
About you
- Significant experience in a senior business management, COO, operations or commercial leadership role
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
- Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams
- Experience leading change, transformation or strategic projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Highly organised, analytical and solutions-focused
- Professional services experience is likely to be advantageous
