With BRC AA+ accreditation, a reputation for exceptional service, and strong year-on-year growth, we're looking for a motivated Sales Order Processor / Customer Service team member to join our Battersea team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and ambitious business where you'll play an important role in looking after our customers, processing orders accurately and helping ensure a smooth service from the moment an order is received through to delivery.
Full training will be provided on our systems and internal processes.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within our Sales Operations team, and closely with the Account Managers and other departments across the business, you will:
- Process customer orders promptly and accurately using Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Respond to customer queries by phone and email in a friendly, confident and professional manner
- Work closely with our Stock, Warehouse, Transport and Accounts teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly
- Monitor customer ordering patterns and flag significant changes to help the Stock team maintain product availability
- Support Account Managers by identifying potential opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Maintain accurate internal spreadsheets, customer information and reporting tools
- Assist with general sales administration and provide support to the wider Sales Operations team
- Proactively resolve customer and order-related issues while maintaining high service standards
- Help ensure our customers receive the reliable and responsive service Food Republic is known for
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales order processing, customer service, sales administration or a similar role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to use your own initiative
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
Desirable
- Experience within food distribution, FMCG, wholesale or a similar fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central experience
- Previous experience supporting a Sales or Account Management team
- An understanding of stock, order fulfilment and delivery processes
