Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Corporate Controller / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the company's fiscal health. This pivotal role combines executive leadership with hands-on financial management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, financial analysis, risk management, and strategic planning, with a passion for fostering sustainable growth. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate finance, including financial planning, forecasting analysis, and development of comprehensive financial projection models.
- Oversee accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) , and other relevant regulations.
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow management, risk analysis, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and investment strategies.
- Supervise financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports, and internal management reports.
- Implement and maintain internal controls such as COSO frameworks and SOX compliance to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity.
- Drive strategic management initiatives by analyzing market trends, conducting business analysis, and supporting mergers & acquisitions activities for growth opportunities.
- Oversee risk management practices related to financial concepts, industry regulations, and compliance standards to mitigate potential threats.
- Lead budgeting efforts, expense management, cost control initiatives, and fiscal management to improve profitability.
- Supervise finance teams across various functions including payroll management, cost accounting, governmental accounting, and supply chain finance.
- Skills
- Extensive experience in accounting systems implementation and financial software proficiency.
- Deep understanding of GAAP standards along with ASC 606 for revenue recognition.
- Proven expertise in financial statement analysis, interpretation of complex financial reports, and financial report writing.
- Strong knowledge of risk analysis techniques combined with regulatory reporting requirements across industries.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams and strategic management initiatives at the executive level.
- Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting analysis, budget development, and cost management strategies.
- Ability to navigate industry-specific regulations such as governmental accounting standards while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with business development acumen to support organizational growth objectives.
- Experience in managing revenue cycle management processes alongside profit & loss oversight.
- Competence in supply chain finance concepts along with technical accounting expertise, including tax accounting and cost control measures.
