Our client is a leading specialty contractor, recognized as a top Company on the prestigious ENR lists of top specialty contractors. The company specifically works in the infrastructure construction / services space. The Company has earned a reputation for its deep expertise in each market it serves, exceptional customer service, and a long-tenured, dedicated workforce that customers have come to reply upon.
Owned by a private equity investment firm, the Company is well-positioned for continued growth. The CFO will be joining a $250M+ revenue company that is rapidly expanding. The successful candidate will have a passion for systems buildout, financial modeling/reporting, KPI development, managing a budget process, and possessing a strong sense of accountability. They will enjoy working at the executive level within the Company as well as with external resources and service providers. Simultaneously, they will be comfortable “rolling up their sleeves” as appropriate in order to lead a thriving Finance function that will drive business results.
Must have qualifications include:
- Must reside in the eastern part of the United States and be willing to travel 50% of the time
- Will have proven experience in a similar size construction or specialty contractor business that experienced meaningful growth
- Will have experience working in a private equity owned company and managed a leveraged balance sheet. Will be well versed working with lenders and other capital sources
- Strong POC experience is a must
- Has to operate at both a strategic level and be able and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to do the work.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships and influence others at all levels and within multiple operating divisions. Must be present and be a strong communicator
- Experience as a public accountant or manager of accounting/controller strongly preferred.
