About The Role
The Deal Desk and Pricing Analyst owns how Vasion quotes and prices its business. This position is responsible for designing and administering the CPQ quoting process, including product and bundle structure, price rules, discount schedules, and approval matrices, and for the design and governance of the pricing workbooks that source list price, uplift, and partner and government discount structures across currencies. The Analyst defines the approval levels, thresholds, and service levels that govern how a quote moves from request to signature, reviews and approves quotes against them, and partners with sales, finance, legal, and channel teams to structure complex and non-standard deals. This position owns recurring reporting on quote cycle time, approval turnaround, and discount trends, and leads the review of that reporting with stakeholders. The Analyst also assists with the delivery of license files, distribution of purchase orders, and intake of incoming cases, contributing to the standardization and automation of those workflows over time, and represents quoting and pricing requirements in adjacent revenue processes such as RFP and RFI responses and new product and pricing launches.
