Job Purpose Role
The Sales Operations & Service Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for implementing our state-of-the-art Sales Operations & Service process and driving continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. We want to exceed the expectations of our customers and bring a wow factor to insurance policy management. Leveraging data and new technologies, e.g. AI, machine Learning, to support our objective to make this process intuitive and easy for our clients. We want to optimize the entire value chain with all our partners. We are setting a new standard within our industry.
Working with the Global Sales Operations & Service Tribe Lead and Operational units you are jointly responsible for the execution of the Sales Operations & Service strategic agenda. The Global Operational Excellence Lead support all the colleagues in the execution of the various objectives by listening, challenging, and supporting the various objectives of the squads. You spend significant amount of time understanding the underlying data of the company and make data driven decisions to find ways to continuously optimize the Sales Operations & Service journey. You have a deep understand of the key performance measures to steer a successful Sales Operations & Service unit and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the full insurance value chain e.g. pricing, actuarial, finance, sales, etc.
As a global leader you are acting at European scale. You lead by example by empowering the colleagues and let them develop and grow every day. The global lead embraces the AZ Direct culture and is an agile ambassador. As a Chapter Lead you have the drive and passion to accelerate the performance of Sales Operations & Service and share the know-how with your international colleagues. Every day, you support the overall strategy of Allianz Direct becoming digitally unbeatable!
Key Responsibilities
- Development and improvement of the high digital Customer Service Model
- Implement harmonized Sales Operations & Service journeys and continuously optimize our Sales Operations & Service process to the highest standards
- Identify and resolve frictions in the Sales Operations & Service handling journeys and process
- Continuously measure and monitor performance against OKRs, KPIs
- Support operational units to deliver an excellent service to our customers
- Steering and close collaboration of Sales Operations & Service operational excellence squads with a global tasks and mindset
- Liaison with key stakeholders across the value chain with an understanding of how Sales Operations & Service contributes to the overall success of the organization
- Support the international culture and the agile way of working within the Tribe
Qualifications/Key Skills
- Bachelor or University degree in related field.
- Strong Operational Management skills with proven track record in Sales Operations & Service management
- Experience with agile organisations and cross country collaborations
- Excellent understand of Sales Operations & Service customer journeys and processes improvement
- First experience with Conversational, GenAI, Co-Pilot
- Effective communication skills to work with stakeholders in a global business environment
- Strong analytical skills to make good, timely, data driven strategic decisions
- Experience working in agile organizations a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for technology-based innovation
- Customer obsessed
- Inspirational leadership skills including change management (Coaching, Listening and Conflict management)
- Excellent level of English. Other languages a plus, particularly German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and French
