Reporting to the Manager, Global Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst will have a wide range of duties in enabling sales performance and success. This role is integral in creating and coordinating sales-related processes, delivering on the ongoing reporting, championing pipeline management, systems and CRM (Salesforce) utilization, and operational coordination of the team, including translating data into digestible and valuable information. The ideal candidate is project-oriented and data-driven to recognize trends and insights that inspire action and has a passion for continuous improvement.
Essential Functions
Business Process
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance through sales analytics and reporting. Compile, analyze and report on sales data for internal business and investors reviews.
- Driving business process, workflow creation & re-engineering and productivity improvement initiatives. Active participation in projects that enable sales success and optimization. Assess and provide solutions to recurring scenarios for the Sales team, identifying problems in existing processes, systems, and relationships to create process improvement and opportunities to streamline, update, or build from new.
Internal Customer
- Support global sales forecast and pipeline management. Analyze, track and trend KPIs and Sales Metrics for sales leadership. Supports customer accounts transfers and ownership. Be a power user of Sales Ops tools and systems including but not limited to Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Monday.com, Brainshark, and others.
- Provides ongoing support and training to end-users to ensure effective utilization of enterprise applications to include developing training materials, conducting workshops, and addressing user concerns and feedback.
- Prioritizes the user experience by involving end-users in the applications decision-making process, gathering feedback, and providing ongoing support and training.
- participate in onboarding and training in collaboration with the Commercial Instructional Designer. Produce ad-hoc reports for Sales as required. Lead and reinforce Sales Ops and CRM best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- A University, College and/or Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or a related field of study
- 2+ years’ experience in a Sales Coordinator or Analyst position
- Knowledge of Sales processes, methodologies and practices
- Experience in Salesforce objects, fields, and reporting
- Outstanding skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience in Technology and Communications fields is an asset
- Knowledge in project management framework and practices will be considered a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish cross-functional relationships
- Project-oriented and with high focus on timelines, deliverables, and communications
- Data-driven with outstanding analytical skills able to analyze complex situations and data sets
