A publicly traded energy infrastructure company is seeking a transformational Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO leading the next phase of the company's evolution.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a finance executive with a proven track record of operating in public markets, managing complex capital structures, leading through periods of change, and creating long-term shareholder value.
The CFO will play a central role in driving financial strategy, strengthening stakeholder confidence, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting the company's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Board on corporate strategy and value creation initiatives.
- Lead all finance, treasury, capital markets, investor relations, accounting, tax, planning, and reporting functions.
- Drive capital structure optimization, liquidity management, and financing strategy.
- Build credibility with investors, lenders, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
- Evaluate strategic transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital deployment opportunities.
- Enhance financial planning, forecasting, and performance management capabilities.
- Develop and lead a best-in-class finance organization.
Candidates must possess:
- Public company CFO, Deputy CFO, Treasurer, EVP Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership experience.
- Significant public company experience, including Board interaction, investor relations, earnings communications, and capital markets exposure.
- Demonstrated turnaround, transformation, restructuring, or business rebuilding experience.
- Experience managing complex balance sheets, debt structures, and financing activities.
- Proven ability to lead through periods of strategic change and organizational transformation.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
