Silicon Valley Commerce LLC is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company with a strong presence on Amazon. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. As we are launching a new spin-off agency service for brands, we are looking for a results-driven Fractional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to help us scale the agency.
As the Fractional CRO, you will be responsible for overseeing and aligning all revenue-generating departments, including sales, marketing, and customer success. This role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies that maximize revenue streams and ensure sustained growth.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both marketing and sales, with a proven track record of driving growth on platforms like Amazon, either from a CRO role within an agency or from leading a SaaS platform that supports brands in achieving success on Amazon.
Job Type: Part- Time / Contract / Project-based
Salary Range: $50 - $200 USD per hour (depending on experience and final interview evaluation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market opportunities.
- Lead the marketing, sales, and customer success teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives cross-functional alignment and achieves business objectives.
- Oversee the sales strategy, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value to maximize revenue.
- Integrate marketing strategies with sales initiatives to ensure cohesive messaging and effective customer engagement across all channels.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts, making adjustments to strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop strategies that prioritize customer experience and satisfaction, driving repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships that align with our revenue goals and expand our market reach.
- Set clear performance metrics for revenue-related functions and manage the teams to achieve or exceed targets.
Qualifications, Experience, and Qualities we look for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a CRO, VP of Sales, or similar senior leadership role with a strong focus on revenue growth in a service-business, ideally in agency setting and e-commerce like Amazon, or with a SaaS company that brands on Amazon use.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing revenue strategies that drive significant growth in an e-commerce setting.
- Expertise in both marketing and sales strategies, particularly within the Amazon ecosystem, in service or SaaS industries.
- Proven ability to drive growth, whether scaling an agency or increasing revenue in a SaaS environment, through targeted lead generation strategies.
- Strong track record of building, managing, and developing integrated sales and marketing teams to achieve company objectives.
- Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is a must.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire a team.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels.
- Knowledge of CRM software, content management systems, and familiarity with the latest trends in marketing and sales technology.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Possess rigorous attention to detail and impeccable work ethic.
- Able to work in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (UTC-05:00).
- Set up to work from home with a stable internet connection and a quiet area in order to communicate with stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- Remote experience.
- E-commerce experience in Amazon.
- Familiarity with Asana, HubSpot, Slack, Hubstaff and Google Suites.
- Have worked in a company whose customers are brands and sellers on Amazon.
