Job Summary
The Deal Desk Supervisor leads the team processing Opportunities/Projects from Preliminary Documents through Final Documents/NTP. A typical day consists of reviewing status of all projects, clearing any obstacles/delays by working cross-functionally to achieve targets for documents process and time duration targets.

Oversee the Deal Desk team and processes and assist the Deal Desk team with department workflow.

Implement new processes to decrease the time duration between preliminary documents and Final documents/NTP.

Ensure finance products are up to date in the company’s CRM and proposal tools.

Work cross-functionally and effectively communicate to resolve issues/delays for projects moving through the process.

Weekly pipeline reviews of escalated accounts, partners and aged opportunities/projects.

Weekly reviews of progress to targets of FDs complete and time duration targets.

Analyze data and information to make improvements.

Communicating progress of department metrics to Department Leadership

Manage, support, develop employees including performance evaluations, hiring, terminating, and training.

Develop Deal Desk department training materials in conjunction with the department leaders.

Provide Deal Desk training and support to other team members; provide feedback to department leaders on employee progress and recommend/provide additional resources as necessary.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications

5+ years of customer service, sales, or finance experience.

Experience in the renewables (solar) industry is a plus.

2+ years of experience coaching, training, mentoring, or leading other team members.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree or higher preferred.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings.

Ability to work in the office as directed.

MS Office, CRMs, Solar Proposal Tools (Aurora, Solo, etc.) preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This position is performed in a standard office environment.
-
This person will operate more than 90% of the time in a stationary position.
-
When not stationary, this person may need to move about the office environment to access filing cabinets, office machinery etc.

This person must be able to operate a computer, common software packages as other office machinery such as a calculator and a printer.
