Job Description
Sabre Steel is seeking a highly motivated and performance oriented sales & operations manager responsible increasing revenue while assisting & improving operational efficiency. You won’t be limited by restrictive territories, misleading commission promises, or constantly moving/unreachable sales targets. You’ll have the flexibility to build business through new & existing customers in a variety of markets. Compensation is effectively unlimited; you will be paid for what you’re able to produce. We also provide a high base salary so you’ll have peace of mind in months that are less fruitful.
Job Requirements
- Generate sales leads and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers
- Cultivate relationships with customers/vendors to establish long-term relationships
- Provide accurate information to customers, including order status, pricing, lead times and quality
- Handle customer questions /concerns in a proactive manner
- Ensure material flows efficiently throughout all processes (purchase, process, customer shipment)
- Work with quality to manage customer returns
- Daily communication with internal staff if/when traveling
- Assist with job setup and purchasing/inventory management
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced communications skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good judgment and decision making skills
- Advanced organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel and Power Point applications)
- Associate’s/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to maintain and grow business relationships with key customers
- 3+ years steel/industrial experience preferred but not required
- High energy and drive, strong business and data analysis skills, excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
