SRM Executive are delighted to be working with an AIM-listed international manufacturer, whose HQ is based in Greater London, on the search for its next CFO. The group has around £150m of revenue, with an international manufacturing footprint across Asia, Europe and America, along with an impressive OEM client base.
The opportunity
This is a hands-on CFO role at a pivotal point for the group. It is deepening its relationships with existing OEM customers, winning new ones through an expanded, data-led sales function, and using automation and AI to drive efficiency. Alongside this, it is using its advanced manufacturing capabilities to build new revenue streams beyond its core markets, which adds real breadth and complexity to the role.
What you'll own
- Lender and covenant management on an asset-based lending facility.
- Weekly cash forecasting and working capital discipline.
- Multi-currency exposure across several currencies, including the hedging programme.
- Tax and transfer pricing, and commercial modelling of tariff scenarios.
- A tight control environment and reporting lines between UK head office and the overseas plants.
- Investor relations, the Remuneration Committee process, and the relationship with the nomad and broker.
What we're looking for
- Previous CFO or senior finance leadership in a listed or PE-backed mid-cap manufacturer or supplier.
- Experience selling into or working with OEM customers.
- Experience running international operations across multiple regions.
- Hands-on experience of borrowing-base or invoice-finance facilities, not just covenanted term debt.
- AIM/PLC experience would be desirable.
- The commercial judgement to partner with the CEO and challenge the business, not just report on it
