The focus of the Sales Operations Analyst is to provide analytical, operational and results focused support to our global Sales team to enable them to focus on driving revenue growth. You will work closely with Scalene executives to drive the commercial success of the business. This is a new role to support the growth of Scalene and will suit someone who enjoys working in fast-paced and changing environments, with an exceptional ability to communicate to a range of audiences and work in an organised and detailed way.
Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Sales Support: Provide sales support to our Sales Executives across Australia, US and the UK including the creation of proposals and presentations, business reporting and targets. Undertake research and provide information to assist Sales Executives in successful conversions.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Evaluate sales KPIs and performance metrics. Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Ensure effective planning of sales strategies to obtain revenue targets. Assist with identifying sales targets and planning around how to successfully convert prospects (eg reviewing annual reports, recent media, etc and drafting account plans). Conduct market and competitive analysis to understand Scalene’s positioning compared to alternative solutions.
- Sales Reporting: Administer our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring records and information are accurate and up to date. Help build monthly sales summary for the leadership team. Partner with finance to ensure CRM data flows into company forecasts and assist with forecasting methodology.
- Sales Operations: Evaluate Scalene sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement (eg changes to standard contracts, process efficiencies, technology investments, etc).
- Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with our Sales Executives, understanding their requirements and assisting them to effectively manage sales processes (eg support for meeting follow-ups, collateral development, etc).
Some skills and experience you will bring to the role:
- Previous experience in a consulting, sales, business development environment
- Exceptional communication skills. The ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and written, with demonstrated experience drafting presentations and proposals
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to confidently engage, collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders
- Experience with a CRM (ideally HubSpot) and understanding of best practices in a sales process is advantageous.

- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to stay organised in a dynamic work environment
