Job Description
My client, a forward thinking manufacturer supplying into the retail sector are looking to recruit a Sales and Account Operations Manager. Reporting into the Sales Director this role is responsible for ensuring seamless and exceptional service delivery to their clients as well as taking a lead on CRM system upgrades, preparing tender proposals, and integrating AI technologies to enhance sales and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
- Review and upgrade the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
- Manage the preparation and submission of tender proposals
Account Management
- Oversee the management of key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Prepare key client KPI's/SLA dashboards for client review meetings
- Attend daily production meetings ensuring client requests are being met
- Responsible for the client onboarding process
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with clients promptly and effectively
- Be the first point of contact for qualifying inbound sales enquiries
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales operations and account management teams
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team and conduct performance reviews
Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations and account management, preferably in a product based sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
