Help us create a better future, quicker

Within the Planning and Improvement Team of the Customer Business you’ll provide operational support and services for Domestic, SME and Smart Solutions Sales Development, whilst ensuring all channels are fully supported to enable financial targets to be achieved. Liaise with internal sales channels, on occasion the wider business as well as external suppliers.

What you’ll be doing

Provide sales operational reporting within specified deadlines, ensuring accurate and timely outputs, with minimal errors, whilst identifying reporting areas that can be improved to be more efficient or accurate.
Responsible for developing and delivering technical solutions to assist in problem solving and reporting developments, to provide an understanding of the business impacts and provide support to the business.
Utilise and analyse information to provide insight into sales operational channel performance to allow for strategic decision making. Identify areas that can be improved, support with embedding new initiatives as required to maximise performance and analyse results to drive continuous improvement
Support in the delivery the domestic sales channels G&E and Smart Solutions sales targets by supporting the channel with day to day operational processes: seeking and implementing continuous improvements to performance and by driving channel development.
Develop, implement, and deliver strategies for promotional support for all sales channels including for example, design of internal and external literature
Supporting in the creating and designing sales incentives in line with business goals to help drive sales performance
Stakeholder management of Sales Channel data delivery and conducting analysis of data opportunities to drive continuous improvement
Project management of business changes for example, literature & system changes, ensuring approval is obtained by all business approvers and adheres to regulatory requirements
Pro-actively look for ways to improve existing sales process & communications
Daily management of Shared Mailbox ensuring all business support requirements are completed
Assist in the identification of new, and development of existing, procedures and systems associated with the operational activity of sales channels.

What you’ll bring

Proficient user of Excel with knowledge of advanced spreadsheet modelling functions, also proficient in Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge and experience in Access databases.
Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
Highly motivated self-starter with strong numerical and analytical skills
An in-depth understanding of sales business processes
Ability to drive forward projects and solutions within tight timescales
Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills
